The AUS Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering brings together some of the region's—and the world's—most acclaimed minds in chemical engineering. Faculty from the department are at the helm of teaching and research in complex and important fields, such as the environment, water, health, food, energy and much more. Many of the department's faculty completed their PhD at leading universities in the United States and Europe, and now use their in-depth knowledge not only to aid student learning, but also to inform the projects and challenges of industry and government.
