The Accounting Society (TAS) is a student-run organization founded in 2011 by the Department of Accounting. Its mission is to promote SBA’s accounting major among students by giving them insight into the exciting opportunities and possible career paths the field offers upon graduation.To empower SBA students to become future business leaders, TAS organizes events that help students connect with executives in accounting firms across the country. It collaborates with prominent organizations such as the Big Four (Deloitte, KPMG, E&Y, PwC) and the IMA (Institute of Management Accountants), and helped to initiate an IMA chapter at AUS.
