Postdoctoral Fellow | Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Development
The Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Sustainable Development (CEISD), an interdisciplinary research center at the School of Business Administration of American University of Sharjah, is introducing a postdoctoral fellowship, which aims to attract qualified researchers to contribute to advancing knowledge in innovation for sustainable development.
About the Fellowship
This fellowship program is designed to offer a unique opportunity for a recent PhD graduate to contribute to interdisciplinary research on innovative sustainability solutions. The selected postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for designing and conducting research, analyzing data and publishing results in high-impact academic journals. The postdoctoral fellow will also be responsible for developing a research agenda in collaboration with faculty fellows from one or more of the following research clusters:
- Entrepreneurial Skills, Management and Growth Strategies
- Sustainable Food Systems
- Environmental Sustainability
- Social Entrepreneurship and Community-driven Social Change
- The Social Impact of Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Growth
- Technology Production, Innovation and Sustainable Development
- Responsible Consumption/Production and the Circular Economy in the Fashion and Tourism Industries
- Demography, Human Capital and Talent Acquisition
Qualifications and Skills Required
- PhD in economics or a business-related discipline from an accredited university (earned within the last five years)
- Fulfillment of all doctoral requirements before the fellowship appointment
- Proven ability to conduct high-quality research in one or more of the specified clusters
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
