Speaker: Professor Jau Tang
Institute of Technological Sciences
Wuhan Universities, China
Electron microscopy is a very powerful tool to visualize the atomic-sized world. By combining such a technique with a femtosecond laser this novel four-dimensional imaging technique allows us to investigate the structure and ultrafast dynamics of nanomaterials at high precision. We will demonstrate its wide applications to inorganic, organic and biological materials to help solve important issues in energy, environment and health.
Professor Jau Tang, a fellow of the American Physical Society, is a distinguished professor in the Institute of Technological Sciences at Wuhan University in China.
