Beyond Complacency and Acrimony: Human Rights in a Post-COVID-19 World (October 2021)
This international round table of prominent world experts on human rights will serve as a platform to analyze the experiences, challenges and prospects for the international human rights regimes that have been exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The event is the culmination of a year-long project that started in Fall 2020 and included two public online events hosted by AUS in March 2021. The participants will discuss the major analyses and findings from the papers they have prepared as part of a Special Issue for the Journal of Human Rights. The Special Issue is edited by the two roundtable organizers: Dr. Giacomo Chiozza and Dr. Jeffrey King of the AUS Department of International Studies.
