The Office of Enrollment Management - Sharakah Program invites students from Grades 9-12 (Years 10-13) to our Sharakah Reading Festival 2024.
Under the theme #Ireadforme, our festival celebrates reading, literature and creative expression. Activities include:
- Free Book Selection: Students can explore a curated collection.
- Book Swap: Bring a pre-loved book to exchange at our Book Swap, hosted by Bookends.
- Creative Expression Zone: Craft and photo booth area with AUS librarians.
- Literature/Reading-Themed Activities: Hosted by professors from the AUS Department of English.
- Interactive Stations: Hosted by AUS clubs and societies.
- American Sign Language Workshop: Learn alternative ways of accessing literature.
- Cosplay Competition: Dress as a favorite literary character for a chance to win.
- Poetry Competition: Create and perform original poems for prizes.
