ADNOC Distribution employees complete English course at AUS
The Achievement Academy Outreach Program at American University of Sharjah (AUS) held a certificate ceremony for 34 employees from ADNOC who completed a Business English Course on May 29, 2014. The participants, who were all staff members from ADNOC Distribution, completed a 10-week, 300-hour program of Business English in the basic and elementary levels. This was a first-time collaboration with ADNOC Distribution and was part of the university's mission to engage fruitfully with organizations in the emirates.
At the ceremony Dr. Thomas Alibrandi, Director of the AUS Achievement Academy, expressed his satisfaction at the emerging community partnership with ADNOC and commended the students on their hard work and tenacity. Tareq Salem Al Khanbashi, ADNOC Retail Sales Department Manager in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, also congratulated the employees on a job well-done.
Present at the ceremony were senior staff from ADNOC including Al Khanbashi, Hamad Al Hammadi, and Hussein Al Wehbe. Also in attendance were Dr. Alibrandi; Lina Hejjawi, Outreach Manager of the Achievement Academy; and academy instructional staff.
