Teaching areas
Dr. AlHamaydeh teaches several courses in the structural engineering field at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Namely; Statics, Statics and Mechanics of Materials for Architecture, Structural Steel Design, Fundamentals of Structural Dynamics, Computer Methods in Structural Analysis and Design, at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level, he teaches Analysis and Design of Tall Buildings, as well as Structural Earthquake Engineering.

Mohammad AlHamaydeh teaches several structural engineering courses, such as Statics, Structural Steel Design, Fundamentals of Structural Dynamics, Computer Methods in Structural Analysis and Design, at the undergraduate level. At the graduate level, Dr. AlHamaydeh teaches Analysis and Design of Tall Buildings, as well as Structural Earthquake Engineering. His area of research and expertise include nonlinear structural dynamic response analysis and modeling, passive control and supplemental damping devices, computer-aided design and simulation, nonlinear finite element methods as well as soil-structure-interaction. Prior to his academic career, he was an active member of the SEAOC as a consultant engineer in Los Angeles, California.
