Dr. May Zaki

May Zaki is currently an Associate Professor in linguistics and Arabic. She has taught courses in linguistics, translation and Arabic as a foreign language in Egypt, the UK and the UAE. Her research interests include semantics, pragmatics, Corpus linguistics, corpus-based translation studies, translational stylistics, and corpora in language teaching. She also has professional experience in curriculum development, accreditation of Bachelor programs, lexicography, teacher training, abstract writing and reviewing/editing translated texts.
