Empowering a Greener Future: The First Engineering Symposium on Building Sustainable Solutions Towards Net Zero Emissions (December 2023)
The symposium is sponsored by Asian Paints, Fine Solutions and Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) and will address various topics related to sustainability including concrete and construction materials, renewable energy, and oil and gas operation, maintenance and practices. This symposium will raise awareness among participants about the urgent need to address climate change and achieve net zero emissions from such industries, as well as discuss university engagement and corporate dedication to these goals. Speakers from academia and industry will present sustainable solutions and their implementation. Participants will have the chance to engage in discussions and interactive sessions to identify the challenges and barriers hindering the transition to net zero emissions.
