Specialist advice on making course selections and academic progression is provided to MSF students by the Program Coordinator in the Department of Finance. Staff in the SBA Graduate Programs Office are also available to assist students with administrative requirements.
Two types of Graduate Assistantships (GA) are available to help our graduate students. These awards are available on a competitive basis. Graduate Research Assistantships (GRA) enable students to work with professors on research projects, giving the students some hands-on exposure to the world of research. Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA) provide an opportunity to assist faculty members with course administration and other activities associated with teaching. Students may alternatively seek graduate employment, working up to 20 hours per week with payment on an hourly basis.
The outreach efforts of SBA are focused on building networks with companies that support AUS programs and provide job opportunities for our graduates. Requests from employers are passed along to students and graduates with the appropriate qualifications.
