Electrical engineering students are at the heart of university life at AUS, taking part in events at the university, college and department level. A sign of the talent and commitment of our students, electrical engineering students have won the AUS President's Cup and the AUS Chancellor's Cup more than 10 times over the past 25 years.
Students can foster their passion for electrical engineering through the AUS Electrical Engineering Club. They are also welcome to join any of the four IEEE student chapters hosted by the department. IEEE is the professional home for the engineering and technology community worldwide. IEEE student chapters provide students with a community of peers, and a connection to faculty and industry professionals who drive innovation in countless technical fields. Student involvement, whether special projects, social and technical meetings, outreach programs or conferences, can help develop a record of accomplishment and capabilities beyond the norm.
