Adjunct Faculty | Computer Science and Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah (AUS) invites applications for an adjunct teaching opportunity commencing in Spring Semester 2025 in the area of computer science and engineering. Experience in the American model of higher education is highly desirable.
The applicant is required to have a PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field and show evidence of a significant teaching portfolio. The candidate is expected to teach one to two courses per semester at the AUS campus in Sharjah. Courses are typically offered during the day, two or three days a week.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has approximately 850 undergraduate students, 30 graduate students, 25 faculty and 11 lab instructors. Students and faculty represent very diverse backgrounds and nationalities; more than 90 nationalities are present on campus. The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Master of Science in Computer Engineering.
