Dr. Gokhan Savas

Associate Professor
PhD, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University,

Gokhan Savas earned his PhD in sociology from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is interested in social inequality pertaining to the intersections of gender, race, and social class. His works have been published in several journals including Sexuality and Culture, Research in Higher Education, and British Journal of Sociology of Education. He previously taught several courses at various institutions including American University of the Middle East (Kuwait), Social Sciences University of Ankara (Türkiye), Luther College (USA), SUNY Cortland (USA), Syracuse University (USA).
