Research areas

She would like to investigate effective teaching writing strategies including, but not limited to, constructive assessment and feedback tactics. She is currently researching the use of technology to deliver instruction, assess, and provide feedback. She is also interested in exploring how to extend the academic writing experience beyond the academic writing course.

Ms. Hoda El Bakhour

Instructor

Huda Bakhour has been teaching academic writing at American University of Sharjah (AUS) since 2013. Prior to AUS, as part of her graduate assistantship, she was a tutor at the writing center at the American University of Beirut (AUB). She also worked as an assistant instructor for Effective Writing for Executives for 3 EMBA classes at AUB.
