Dr. Ji Young Shim

With an academic background and career in both theoretical and applied linguistics/TESOL, Dr. Ji Young Shim has taught in Linguistics/English/ESL departments at various institutions in the US, Europe and Asia. Her research and teaching interests include syntax, syntax-semantics interface, psycholinguistics, bilingualism and code-switching, and second/foreign language acquisition. She is a recipient of an NSF grant (BCS-1023709) and currently serves as an International Editorial Board member for Studies in Generative Grammar.
