Dr. Marco Zuccato

PhD, The University of Melbourne, Australia

I received a Master in Philosophy from the University of Milan in 2000. I received a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Melbourne in 2005. In 2013 I received a Postdoctoral degree (Licence in Mediaeval Studies) from the University of Toronto. I am currently Assistant Professor in History at the American University of Sharjah. I am interested in Medieval History, History of al-Andalus, History of Medieval Science, History of Medicine and History of Arabic Science. I have several publications related to Medieval History and the infiltration of Arabic Science to the Latin West during the early middle ages.
