Mohammad I. Daoud received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 2009. He was awarded an NSERC PGS-D scholarship and was a Scholar of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research/University of Western Ontario Strategic Training Initiative in Cancer Research. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at the University of British Columbia. From 2011 to 2023, Dr. Daoud was at the German Jordanian University, where he became a full professor in 2020 and served as Director of the Center for E-Learning. In 2023, he joined the CSE department at AUS as a Visiting Professor. He has published over 90 papers in machine learning, medical image analysis, and parallel computing.
