Professor Shadi Banitaan

Dr. Shadi Banitaan is currently a Visiting Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the American University of Sharjah (AUS). He is also a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Detroit Mercy, currently on professional leave. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from Yarmouk University and his Ph.D. from North Dakota State University. His research interests include machine learning, software engineering analytics, and intelligent systems. He has published over 70 research papers and is a member of ACM and the IEEE Computer Society.
