Ali Alsuwaidi
Eng. Ali Alsuwaidi is one of the influential leaders in the facilities management (FM) and asset management industry in the Middle East. He has been actively involved since the industry’s early stages and has undertaken a range of prestigious, mission-critical, high-profile assignments. His valuable volunteer efforts have significantly contributed to the growth of the industry in the Middle East, particularly in GCC countries.
Eng. Ali is recognized as a global FM subject matter expert and a visionary speaker, regularly participating in facility management workshops, conferences, and seminars. Among his many achievements, Ali was the first operations head for the world’s tallest tower, Burj Khalifa.
In addition to his prominence in the Middle East, he has had a substantial global impact as Vice Chairman of the Global FM Association (GFM) since January 2021. He previously served on the board of directors starting in January 2013 and has held key positions in various influential entities.
Eng. Ali holds an MBA from the American University of Sharjah and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Toledo, Ohio, USA. He also earned a Mini MBA certificate in leadership from INSEAD and graduated from the Dubai Government Leadership program in coordination with The Wharton School of Business, USA. Additionally, Ali holds an international diploma in Health, Safety and Environment Management from the British Safety Council.
