Lecture by: Rim Gouia
On behalf of Mathematics and Statistics Department under the College of Arts and Sciences, you are cordially invited on a Seminar to be conducted by Dr. Rim Gouia from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Abstract:
The problem of image reconstruction in ultrasound imaging requires inversion of a generalized Radon transform, which integrates the unknown function over circles in the case of monostatic regime or ellipses in the case of bistatic regime. The aim of my talk is to discuss the injectivity of these transforms and inversion procedures in the circular acquisition geometry.
