The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBE) is hosting its Seventh Chemical and Biological Engineering Boot Camp for high school students in Grades 10–12/Years 11-13. During the boot camp, students will engage in a series of activities to learn more about basic chemical and biological engineering operations such as distillation, size reduction, pump station, cooling tower, reverse osmosis for water desalination and more. They will also gain hands-on training in the synthesis of personal care products, drug encapsulation as well as other processes in chemical and biological engineering.
