AUS and HPE explore joint R&D projects
American University of Sharjah (AUS), AUS Enterprises (AUSE) and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) explored joint R&D projects in a workshop held on campus today, November 14.
Taking part in the workshop were key AUS and HPE officials who worked on the vision and the future development of the partnership.
Senior officials of the three parties lead by Dr. Leland Blank, Interim Provost and Chief Academic Officer; Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO AUSE; Dr. Richard Schoephoerster, Dean of Engineering; and Herbert Zierl, Managing Director of HPE Middle East, discussed building on their previous collaborations by strengthening their ties in exploring joint R&D projects and agreements that enhance seeking solutions for the benefit of UAE community and the region.
The workshop began with an introduction on the objectives of AUS, AUSE and CEN. The HPE officials then discussed the HPE objectives that focused on IoT, networking, storage topics, technology consumption, managed ecosystem and shared investment.
