AUS College of Engineering to recognize students’ and alumni achievements at its Annual Awards 2022
American University of Sharjah (AUS) College of Engineering (CEN) introduces its first CEN Annual Awards 2022 to recognize students’ excellence and contributions across many categories including academic, research, leadership, community service, and talents.
AUS CEN full-time students during the Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 semesters and alumni are encouraged to submit their applications by April 11, 2022. Students and alumni can apply to one or more of the CEN Annual Awards for the year 2022.
“We are very pleased to launch the first CEN Awards for engineering students at AUS. We want to recognize students who are academically outstanding, have a proven record of published research work, and who are innovative and talented in their leadership and community engagement. We also want to recognize our active alumni and the work they do in the industry and with the college. Our graduates are known for their high caliber, and we have seen many of them graduate and go to renowned universities such as MIT, Oxford and Cambridge and excel in their specialty. At CEN, we believe that our students have skills that can lead them into the 21st century and we want to celebrate them,” said Dr. Fadi Aloul, Dean of College of Engineering at AUS.
The list of CEN Annual Awards 2022 are as follows:

The College of Engineering at American University of Sharjah aspires to be the recognized leader in engineering education in Sharjah, across the UAE and the GCC, and to become a top choice by students, parents, faculty and staff who choose to contribute to engineering higher education. International recognition demonstrates the university’s continuing commitment to the quality of its programs so that CEN students are ready to practice once they graduate and employers can count on AUS graduates to meet their needs.
