AUS’ executive education and graduate programs on display at HR Summit
American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) expanding offering of graduate and executive education programs was highlighted at the annual HR Summit held in Dubai November 12–14, 2018, bringing together over 5,000 attendees, along with 110 exhibitors. Participants were invited to take part in more than 70 seminars and learn from 140 speakers covering many of the most pressing aspects of human resources (HR), including digitization of the workforce and the impact of artificial intelligence on employment. This is the 15th year the summit has taken place, making it an important event on the region’s HR and higher education calendar.
For AUS, the summit was an opportunity to make the industry aware of the university’s increasing number of master’s and PhD degrees, and growing executive and professional education portfolio. The university now offers a PhD in Engineering Systems Management and 14 master’s degree programs, including the widely acclaimed Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The university’s executive education offering is also developing, with the AUS Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE) launching a new portfolio of programs this year. The center works with a significant number of organizations from across the region to deliver customized executive education programs, tailored to an organization’s specific learning and development needs.
