College of Engineering at AUS organizes virtual Executive Engineering Learning Days
As part of the ongoing celebrations of the American University of Sharjah’s (AUS) Silver Jubilee, the College of Engineering (CEN) is organizing Executive Engineering Learning Days, which are a series of scientific and professional virtual workshops taught by its world-class faculty.
“The Executive Engineering Learning Days are part of our continued efforts in CEN to engage with the community and provide our expertise to serve its members and boost the position of organizations in the public and private sectors in the marketplace. The college has a proven track record of providing specialized technical knowledge to create solutions for industry partners. By organizing and opening the Executive Engineering Learning Days to different segments of society, we seek to enhance research, innovation and build an entrepreneurial spirit in some key areas that are globally important, and perfectly align with the UAE’s innovative agenda,” said Dr. Fadi Aloul, Dean of CEN.
The executive learning team will hold complementary workshops open to members of the community on Smart Cities Technologies, Empowered Women in the Workplace, Microelectromechanical (MEMS) Technology, Total Quality Management, Lean Six Sigma, The Art and Science of Design Thinking, Fundamentals of Structural Earthquake Engineering, and Fundamentals of Fire Protection Engineering.
AUS students and alumni, representatives from the private and public sectors, and members of the community can attend these informative short courses.
