Etisalat’s Ajman Operations Center and AUS Executive Education collaborate for future-focused leadership and customer delivery
Senior managers, including heads of departments, from the Ajman Operations Center of Etisalat, the UAE’s largest telecommunications provider, are taking part in a program custom-designed by Executive Education at American University of Sharjah (AUS).
Twelve participants from across the organization will undergo intensify training in the fields of design thinking, emotional intelligence, peer-to-peer management and finance for non-financials. Emphasis will be placed on engaging participants through hands-on, with 70 percent of the program dedicated to having participants solve problems, immerse themselves in real-world cases and undergo team work.
An important focus of the program will be ‘design thinking’, a concept employed by some of the world’s most successful companies including Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola and Proctor & Gamble. Participants will be led step-by-step through the design thinking process so that they are able to identify and assess unmet customer needs and design services that ensure an enriched customer experience.
Director of Executive Education at American University of Sharjah, Dr. Ilias Visvikis said:
“Etisalat’s Ajman Operations Center is an important partner of AUS Executive Education and we are delighted to be collaborating with Etisalat’s leaders to help them achieve their goals for the future. We want to work closely with the organization and its people to achieve new and effective ways to meet their business goals through exceptional leadership, and ultimately meet the expectations of their customers.”
