Former AUS professor becomes interim Prime Minister of Libya
Dr. Abdurrahim El-Keib, former electrical engineering professor at American University of Sharjah (AUS) was elected the interim Prime Minister of Libya on October 31.
Dr. El-Keib's research is in the areas of electrical power engineering and has taught in many universities including North Carolina State University, The University of Alabama, the University of Tripoli, The Petroleum Institute in UAE and AUS. He served as the director of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering at AUS from 1999-2001.
