More than 120 students attend club workshop
More than 120 AUS students from 80 different cultural and interested-oriented clubs attended the Club Workshop held September 5, 2018 at the university’s Student Center. The workshop provides guidance and support to club board members to help them run their clubs and organizations smoothly and be able to implement successful events. Topics included leadership and teamwork, planning and organizing, budgeting and finance, and events management.
“The student turnout at the workshop is an indicator of our students’ interest in out-of-class learning activities. We gather the students before the kick-off of activities to provide them with valuable tips and guidelines based on our best practices so that they may fully benefit from their participation in extracurricular activities,” said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Dean of Students.
The workshop was organized by Office of Student Affairs’ Student Development and Organizations Department.
