SLP students take part in Creativity Week in Dubai
Four students from the AUS Office of Student Affairs' Student Leadership Program (SLP) participated in Creativity Week 2015 at the Rulers Court Building, Dubai, UAE. Students displayed their outstanding projects and interacted with key officials and representatives.
"Creativity Week was one of my best experiences. It taught me many skills as well as how to do work on time with determination and dedication. The event gave me a platform to showcase my innovations and ideas," said Baruni Rai, a sophomore student majoring in electrical engineering.
"The event was very inspiring. It taught me, as a designer, to think outside the box and always be encouraged no matter how many times you fail during the process. It was interesting to see how the UAE is advancing with regards to technology," added Rabeeya Abdul Jabbar, a junior student majoring in visual communication.
"This is the first time we took part in Creativity Week, and the outcome was fruitful. Students gained insight on the importance of creativity for success. We encourage more students to get involved in SLP and look for such opportunities," said Dr. Moza Al Shehhi, Dean of Students.
