My current research at AUS is on ultrafast processes in nanoparticles using the femtosecond laser and reaction microscope (nanoTRIM) housed at the Materials Research Center (MRC). We investigate the interactions of nanoparticles with ultrashort, intense laser pulses, aiming to explore and precisely tailor their physical and optical properties. This work has applications in a variety of fields, including materials science, atmospheric physics, and planetary chemistry.
