AUS reaches IChemE Global Award final
An American University of Sharjah (AUS) chemical engineering research team, led by Dr. Ghaleb Al Husseini, Professor of Chemical Engineering, was selected as a finalist in the IChemE Global Award.
The team's project (Nanocarriers and Ultrasound in CancerTreatment) has made the final stage for the Research Project of the Year Award,along with projects from Harvard University; University of Manchester;University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; University of California, San Diego;George Washington University; and University of Birmingham to name a few. Theteam has been invited to attend the IChemE Global Awards 2016 at The PalaceHotel, Manchester, UK, where the winner will be announced on November 3.
The IChemE Global Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and achievement in the chemical, biochemical and process industries. Held in association with Amec Foster Wheeler, 30 awards will be presented in this year's event. The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is the global professional membership organization for chemical engineering professionals and anyone involved with the process industries.
