Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah and President of American University of Sharjah, the GCC Media Education Congress 2014 will be held February 19, 2014 at American University of Sharjah. GCC media industry and thought leaders will converge at the university and share insights and ideas for media education curriculum development.

An ideal platform to create yearly thought leadership content and help build and deepen region-wide media sector relationships, the conference will include traditional, digital and social media personalities from the GCC, as well as journalists covering the media and education sectors.
