Research areas

Material modeling, predicting failure behavior using numerical or experimental techniques, tailoring performance through developing functionally graded/composite/nano materials, optimizing manufacturing process to minimize cost /enhance sustainability, using facility planning/simulation/automation tools to improve system’s performance specifically manufacturing and traffic systems.

Dr. Noha Hussein

Noha M. Hassan Hussein has an accumulated experience of teaching a variety of courses including material science, manufacturing processes, computer aided manufacturing, facility planning and computer aided design. Her main research interest lies in the interrelationship between materials, manufacturing and design. Her expertise is in area of material modeling, examining material's behavior through numerical, experimental as well as microstructure analysis, manufacturing system modeling and processes optimization.
