AUS concludes successful first Inter-College Sports Tournament for Fall 2018
The College of Engineering (CEN) won top honors at the first AUS Inter-College Sports Tournament for Fall 2018 held recently. The tournament witnessed the participation of 614 students from CEN, College of Architecture, Arts and Design (CAAD), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), School of Business Administration (SBA) and the Achievement Academy (AA).
The month-long event included a wide range of sports disciplines including: Basketball (Men and Women), Table Tennis (Men and Women), Swimming (Men and Women), Chess (Men and Women), Soccer (Men and Women), Volleyball (Men and Women), Cricket (Men), Badminton (Men and Women), Squash (Men and Women), and Bench Press )Men).
"We are pleased to express our gratitude to more than 600 student participants, the OSA staff and representatives from CEN, CAAD, CAS, SBA and AA for their efforts and contribution in making this event such a resounding success. Congratulations to CEN for grabbing the overall championship trophy and their successful campaign in the tournament,” said Munketh Taha, Director of Student Development and Organizations.
