AUS holds Virtual Open Days for school students and professionals
American University of Sharjah (AUS) is giving prospective high school students and working professionals an exclusive sneak preview of student life at the university and an opportunity to chat with AUS experts during its Virtual Open Days starting today, March 1.
By registering through the event’s portal, visitors can attend any of the six online events, four of which are aimed at prospective undergraduate students, and two for graduate students. AUS will also be holding an open day on campus for prospective graduate students on March 19.
During these events, participants will get an opportunity to explore the campus and view its world-class facilities, learn about the wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, meet with representatives from across the university and learn about scholarship opportunities. Participants can also receive help on their admissions application ahead of the deadline for Fall 2022 admission.
“AUS organizes open days to provide opportunities for prospective students and their parents to explore AUS at large and respond to their queries. During the event, visitors will learn about the university's programs, its commitment to quality teaching and research, scholarships and financial grants, academic support, and receive counseling and advice on majors to pursue,” said Ali Shuhaimy, Executive Director, Office of Enrollment Management at AUS.
He added: “Based on the overarching objective of the open day, it will be hosted by staff and faculty members from various departments, including admissions officers, scholarships and financial grants office, academic support office, the registrar’s office and sponsorship office.”
