Our hard work has been recognized internationally with QS World University Rankings by Subject listing AUS as number one in the UAE and among the top 250 universities globally for business and management studies, and number one (tied) in the UAE and among the top 250 universities globally for accounting and finance (2022). Additionally, the 2022 QS report found that graduates who have studied business and management and accounting and finance at AUS  are rated as the top choice by UAE employers. These are just some of the many honors we’ve received over the years. We are proud of being among a select group of business schools around the world that are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). As a CFA Institute Program Partner, we offer opportunities to our students that will help them gain a firm foothold in a competitive, global marketplace.

At SBA, we have created an environment that reflects the realities of the real world so that our students can transition easily from academia to the workplace. Our high-tech Interactive Trading Floor, which was the first of its kind in the MENA region, is a manifestation of that goal. This trading floor contains Bloomberg Terminals, allowing students to access real-time financial information from across the world. Having at least 100 students complete Bloomberg Market Concepts Certification each year, and the use of the Bloomberg terminals, has seen SBA accorded Bloomberg Experiential Learning Partner Program (ELP) status. SBA is one of only 35 universities worldwide, and the first in the MENA region, to achieve this accolade. The program is designed to recognize and celebrate academic institutions who are leaders in experiential learning, through the integration of Bloomberg Terminals into their curricula. The program will build a community of peer institutions that provide their students with innovative courses to build their financial market awareness and career readiness.

Hundreds of our students are placed annually as interns at some of the top companies in the region. For many, a successful internship was followed by an offer for employment upon graduation. Our alumni have built impressive corporate careers in blue-chip companies around the world. Many have gone on to set up their own businesses and become successful entrepreneurs.
