American University of Sharjah has been declared the sole testing center in the United Arab Emirates for the prestigious Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and Principles and Practice of Engineering Exam (PE) administrated by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in the USA.
The AUS Testing and Professional Development Center offers the computer-based FE exam. The exam has many significant changes in content, format and administration. The following link offers more information on computer-based testing. You may also find information about the exam day procedures here.
Candidates who are deemed eligible for the FE or PE exam will then complete a web-based registration form for the specified exam. All candidates must agree to comply with NCEES policies and procedures for testing before they will be allowed to test. Candidates will pay all required examination fees during the web-based registration process using a personal credit card. Contact AUS for information about the approval process.
After you have been approved by AUS to take the exam, you must register online with NCEES and pay the appropriate fees to reserve your seat prior to the posted NCEES registration deadline.
