Alumni Hall of Fame

Since 1997, more than 90 alumni have been admitted into the College of Engineering Hall of Fame at AUS.

Those selected have demonstrated outstanding commitment to excellence, research, innovation and service in engineering since graduating from AUS.

Alumni Awards

Most Engaged Alumni Award

This award recognizes a CEN alumnus or alumna who was actively engaged with the CEN in promoting and advancing its reputation, has offered his/her services to the CEN Department(s), or demonstrated sustained excellence, accomplishment, and creativity in their professional field during the academic period between 2018-2023.

Rules Specific to this Award:

  • Application is open only for AUS CEN alumni.
  • Alumni engagement took place during the academic period between 2018‐2023.

Selection Criteria:

  • Degree of involvement with the CEN
  • Importance and impact to the CEN
  • Extent to which they set a role model to existing CEN students
General Application Rules

The application deadline for the 2023/24 academic year will be announced soon.

  • The applicants must not be involved with any academic dishonesty or misconduct incidents at AUS.
  • Application is open only for AUS CEN alumni
  • Awards can be self-nominated unless otherwise stated.
  • Applicants are encouraged to provide sufficient evidence that targets each criterion for better chances of winning.
  • The award winners in the previous years may not apply to the same award again. They can apply to other CEN Annual Awards instead.
  • The CEN holds the right to cancel any award for a particular academic year without prior notice if the selection criteria are not met by any applicant.
  • Trophies and Certificates of achievement will be provided to the winners. In addition, winners accomplishment will be highlighted on the CEN website.

  • Personal statement (2 pages max)
  • Curriculum Vitae (2 pages max)
  • Two support letters from faculty and/or professionals
  • Any additional evidence specific to the intended award to support the application

CEN Mentoring Program

The CEN Alumni-Student Mentoring Program connects current students with successful alumni from the College of Engineering. The program aims to foster meaningful relationships, provide guidance and offer career insights for current senior students and recent CEN graduates. In addition, the program introduces a unique reward system to incentivize and acknowledge alumni participation.
