ADNOC trainees complete English outreach program
The Achievement Academy Outreach Program (AABP) at American University of Sharjah (AUS) held the Fall 2016 certificate ceremony for 15 employees from ADNOC Distribution who completed an eight-week program of English at the elementary level, from September 24 to November 17, 2016.
Jessica March, Acting Director of AABP, welcomed the ADNOC trainees and said, "I feel very happy and honored today to acknowledge all of your achievements. I hope you had the opportunity to enjoy yourselves over these past few months. I feel lucky to be working in an institution that values lifelong learning, and I'm thrilled to be here today to acknowledge your success."
Also speaking at the ceremony was Abdulla Al Houli, an ADNOC trainee, who thanked the instructors at AUS and said, "This course provided effective training with a focus on the speaking, listening, reading and writing of English, skills that we use in our daily lives. I'm proud of my colleagues and myself for taking this course and improving our language."This was ADNOC Distribution's sixth certificate ceremony at AUS. The program is part of the the university's mission to engage fruitfully with organizations around the emirates.
