AUS congratulates UAE on winning the bid for Expo 2020
American University of Sharjah(AUS) congratulates the United Arab Emirates and Dubai for winning the bid tohost Expo 2020! An event of such magnitude is of tremendous significance notonly for the city in which it is held but also for the country and the region asa whole. As one of the premier institutions of higher learning in the Gulfregion, AUS has always placed a great deal of emphasis not only in providing aworld-class education but also in playing a dynamic role in responding to theneeds of the country.
Every city that holds such alarge and multi-faceted event draws upon the strengths and capabilities of itsnational resources, ones that go beyond its own municipal boundaries. Over theyears, AUS has earned a reputation as a repository of talent for the countryand the region.
