AUS welcomes 30 new faculty members

American University of Sharjah (AUS) welcomed thirty new faculty members to its campus at an orientation organized by the Faculty Development Center on Sunday, August 14. During the orientation, the faculty members met with various AUS officials who answered their questions and concerns. They were also given a tour of the university campus.

"We are very happy to welcome the new faculty to AUS and wish them every success here," said Dr. Cindy Gunn, Director of the Faculty Development Center, during her welcoming remarks. With the new faculty members joining AUS this semester, the total number of the university's faculty are now around 370, she added.

The orientation session followed a weeklong schedule of events that aimed to provide the faculty members with a comprehensive understanding of the university.
