Join your fellow students in participating in the SBA internship program, which is a graduation requirement for all SBA majors. Working in a field that reflects your academic, personal and professional interests will help you decide your career direction. It will give you a chance to experience and apply theoretical concepts of classroom learning in real business settings.
For information on due dates for your internship, attend the Internship Seminar.
STEP 1: Attend one of the internship seminars in the Spring semester.
STEP 2: Make sure you are registered on the SBA Career Coach Internship Portal
STEP 3: Find a suitable internship and send your supervisor information (name, email, and name of company) to sbacareercoach@aus.edu
STEP 4: Fill in the Placement form on the portal and upload the completed SBA Internship Agreement
STEP 5: The Internship Manager will register you and notify you of registration.
STEP 6: Complete the program.
STEP 7: Complete the Internship Evaluation (you and your supervisor) on the Portal and upload the following documents online:
STEP 8: For BUS 497, complete the four assignments mentioned in the course syllabus.
The employer's evaluation has to be submitted on the SBA Career Coach Portal by logging in through their account.
Deadline for submission of all the above documents is one week from the last day of the internship.
STEP 9: Check your grade on Banner.
